PODIATRIST EXPLAINS DANGERS OF LATEST TIK TOK FAD

Can you simply spray away your foot pain? Podiatrist Hillary Brenner, DPM joined The Doctors to weigh in on a TikTok trend where women are spraying their feet with lidocaine to relieve high heel pain. Dr. Brenner shares that this is so dangerous because it will block your pain receptors, and you can damage your feet!

"G-d gave us those pain receptors for a reason...to protect us from injury. If you don't feel something, damage can happen to your feet. This could lead to blisters, which could result in infections. Diabetics have to be very careful about this," says Dr. Brenner.
