PODIATRIST DISCUSSES FLINSTONE FEET
posted: Sep. 14, 2020.
There’s a new pandemic trend afoot: “Flintstone feet”. It can happen after months and months of working at home barefoot or wearing flip-flops. And it’s becoming a problem, said Vanessa Barrow, DPM, owner of Sole Aesthetic, a private practice in Bellaire specializing in regenerative and aesthetic medicine of the foot and ankle. “No one is getting into heels right now. People are at home barefoot all day or in flip-flops, and when they try to do something rigorous with their feet, they are getting tendinitis and plantar fasciitis.”
